Frankfort-area locations of the educationally focused child care provider Kiddie Academy will host Storytime LIVE! on August 24, inviting Frankfort area children and their parents to come and enjoy a story highlighted by a visit from the story's lead character. Frankfort area children will see a story come to life with guest appearance by the story's lead character!
"Our Storytime LIVE! event is open to everyone - our current students, new friends who would like to learn more about us, or anyone who would simply like to share a special experience with their child, " said Renee Thompson, director of education for Kiddie Academy. "Reading together helps prepare children for school and for life by introducing new ideas and building essential speech, communication and literacy skills."
The event is free and begins at 11:00 a.m. at participating academies. The lead character from the story at each academy will make an appearance at the events, so Thompson reminds parents to bring their cameras to capture their child's smiles.
