New exhibit at LEGOLAND open for public vote

Expert model builders at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago are gearing up to build a new interactive LEGO exhibit, and they need your help designing it.
Now through Jan. 16, members of the public can cast a vote for their favorite LEGO theme. The theme receiving the most votes will be developed into a large-scale, interactive LEGO experience, which will be on display at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago this spring.
“Our goal is to create something that local LEGO fans are really going to appreciate,” said Andrew Johnson, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago’s Master Model Builder. “We want people to come out to the Center, enjoy this exhibit and know that they had a hand in creating it.”
Voting is open to the public at www.LEGOLANDDiscoveryCenter.com/Chicago and in-person at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago, 601 N. Martingale Road, in Schaumburg.
LEGO fans who cast a vote will automatically enter to win tickets to a special red carpet premiere of the completed exhibit.
“Every great LEGO creation starts with a great idea,” Johnson said. “We’re looking to the public to help inspire that idea.”
